Are Mamba e-bikes road-legal in Australia?

Yes. Every Mamba is certified to EN 15194, the bike, the battery and the charger. Pedal assist stops at 25 km/h and the throttle is limited to 6 km/h walk assist.

Do I need a licence to ride an e-bike?

No. In Australia, compliant electric bicycles can be ridden without a licence or registration.

Where are Mamba bikes designed?

Mamba bikes are designed for Australian riding conditions, including city commuting, coastal paths and recreational riding.

Are Mamba bikes suitable for hills?

Yes. The electric assist helps riders tackle hills with significantly less effort.

Can I ride in the rain?

Yes. Mamba e-bikes are designed to handle normal wet conditions, though they should not be submerged or pressure-washed.

What rider weight can the bikes support?

Battery & Charging

How long does it take to charge the battery?

Most batteries take 5 to 8 hours to charge with the supplied charger, depending on the model. The exact time is listed in the specs on each bike page.

How long does the battery last?

Lithium batteries typically last 600 to 800 charge cycles, which for most riders means several years of normal use.

Can I remove the battery?

Yes. Most Mamba models feature removable batteries for convenient indoor charging.

Performance

How far can a Mamba e-bike travel on one charge?

Range depends on rider weight, terrain, assist level and conditions. Most riders can expect approximately 40 to 80 km per charge.

How fast do Mamba e-bikes go?

Electric assistance is limited to 25 km/h, which complies with Australian regulations.

Are the bikes difficult to ride without power?

No. Mamba bikes ride like normal bicycles. The electric assist simply adds support when pedalling.

Orders & Delivery

Where do you ship?

We ship Australia-wide.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are dispatched within 48 hours of payment confirmation. Delivery then takes 3 to 7 business days to metro areas and 7 to 12 business days to regional areas. You get a tracking link by email once it ships.

Do the bikes arrive assembled?

Bikes arrive about 85% assembled, with tools and a quick start guide. Basic setup such as fitting the pedals and straightening the handlebars is all that's needed.

Warranty coverage

What warranty do Mamba e-bikes come with?

Mamba e-bikes are covered by a 2 year warranty on the frame and a 1 year warranty on electronic components, including the motor, controller, display, battery and charger.

Warranty support is handled by our Australian team, and claims go through our online warranty claim form.

How do I get spare parts or technical support?

Our Sydney-based team handles troubleshooting, parts supply, warranty processing and technical support. Contact us with your model and serial number if you're not sure what you need.
