Road legality in NSW

Question:

Are Mamba e-bikes legal to ride on the road in NSW?

Answer:

Yes. Our 250W and 500W models meet local power and assist requirements for public-road use when configured appropriately.

Models above 500W (e.g., 750W and AWD bikes) are intended for off-road or private property use.

Safe charging for properties

Question:

How should Mamba e-bikes be charged at homes, rentals or hotel properties?

Answer:

Mamba e-bikes use certified chargers and BMS-protected lithium batteries, which automatically regulate power flow, prevent overcharging and stop charging when full (the charger shows a green light once complete).

For general safety and convenience, we recommend a stable, dry, well-ventilated area such as a garage, covered patio, dedicated charging point, or indoor space with normal household ventilation.

If you operate a hotel or short-stay property, we can provide a simple charging guideline sheet to help guests use the charger correctly.


We do not recommend leaving the charger connected for more than 24 hours, as extended unattended charging can place unnecessary stress on the electrical system and may shorten the long-term lifespan of the battery.
